Teyana Taylor flashes her incredible washboard abs while filming a scene in Harlem for her upcoming movie A Thousand And One
She took a break from making music to appear in the highly anticipated comedy sequel Coming 2 America earlier this year.
And Teyana Taylor looked like she was sticking with her acting style when she was spotted on the set of her upcoming movie A Thousand And One.
The 30-year-old showed off her fit figure and chiseled abs while shooting an outdoor scene in Harlem on Tuesday.

Teyana was casually dressed in a red cropped tank top that emphasized her tight midriff.
Her costume also featured baggy dark jeans tucked into loosely tied Timberland boots.
Her dark hair was shiny and smoothed to accentuate her large gold earrings.
The film seemed to be a period piece as she walked between older car models trying to hand out handbills.

Although she has been seen on set, Teyana’s casting in A Thousand And One does not appear to have been officially announced.
In December, it was reported that writer AV Rockwell would make her directorial debut with the film, which she also wrote.
The film follows a free-spirited woman named Ines who kidnaps her six-year-old son from the foster system.
With only each other to count on, they try to rebuild their lives in a rapidly gentrifying New York City.
It’s unclear if Teyana plays Ines or a smaller character.

In between takes, she was seen relaxing and looking at her phone.
Teyana may be focusing more on acting after she made the shocking announcement in December that she was quitting making music.
But in April, the musician made it clear that she was not retiring for good and was simply sharing her frustrations with Kanye West’s record label GOOD Music.
“I felt like the label didn’t really hear and see me,” she told Cam Newton on his BET series Sip ‘n Smoke. ‘I felt undervalued. So, for my mental health, my mental well-being, for my kids, let me put this on ice for a minute [bit]. It’s not like I’ve retired permanently. It’s more like, I just don’t feel like I want to move another inch for a company.”

Teyana, who recently topped Maxim’s Hot 100 list, showed interest in another acting project late last year.
The hitmaker wanted to play legendary singer Dionne Warwick in a series she pitched on Netflix about her incredible life and career.
However, the potential project was later conceived as a biopic after super producer Scott Rudin sparked interest.
Earlier this year, a deluge of allegations of physical and emotional abuse against Rudin’s former employees were unleashed, which appear to have scuttled the project, at least for now.
