Texas A&M freshman wide receiver Micah Tease has been suspended indefinitely from the team after being arrested for drugs on Friday.
Lone Star State authorities discovered the 18-year-old in possession of marijuana just a day before the Aggies opened their 2023 season at home against New Mexico in an SEC news.
Tease, a native of Tulsa, Oklahoma, possessed between 4 and 400 grams of a controlled substance (edibles), which in the eyes of the law is considered a second degree felony.
He also possessed less than 2 ounces of marijuana and will be charged separately for that offense, which is a misdemeanor, according to Brazos County jail records.
Tease was released on bail Friday after posting $13,000 bond.
