A woman left a phone full of selfies after shooting a nail salon owner after arguing over the price of her mani-pedi, police say.
Those selfies have now been shared by Harris County Sheriff’s Office in an effort to track down the suspect after Saturday’s shooting at Katy Nails in Katy, Texas.
It left the 42-year-old male owner of the salon seriously ill in hospital, although he is expected to make a full recovery from his injuries.
According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the confrontation began when the woman and a female friend entered the salon and received a manicure and pedicure.

When it came time to pay, officials said both women were unhappy with the prices and started arguing with the 42-year-old Asian-American owner.
A spokesman for the sheriff’s office told DailyMail.com that he did not know how much customers were charged for the services provided at the salon.
One of the women, dressed in a pink top and gray shorts, paid and walked out of the store, while the other, dressed in a black shirt, continued the verbal argument with the male owner.
According to the sheriff’s spokesman, the lady owner told the woman to pay and leave, and that her companion would return in the pink shirt.
The woman in pink started arguing again with the salon owner, who reportedly tried to push her out of the store.

That was when the woman pulled out a gun and shot the man once, beating him in the chest, police said.
Both customers then fled to a burnt orange Ford Fusion and drove off.
The 42-year-old victim was flown in critical but stable condition to Memorial Hermann Texas Medical Center, which has since been upgraded to stable.
Emergency workers who arrived at the scene found the phone from the shooting in the salon, which contained her photos.
The sheriff’s office has released the wanted woman’s selfies as part of a call to the public to help investigators identify her, the suspect’s phone found at the scene.
The sheriff’s spokesman told DailyMail.com on Wednesday that the detectives had received good tips and hoped to make an arrest today.
The suspect is suspected of aggravated assault. Although the victim was Asian-American, the attack is not currently under investigation as a hate crime.
