Tesla will finally unveil its long-awaited electric pickup truck on November 21, Elon Musk tweeted on Wednesday. The truck, which Musk has called "Cybertruck", should look like something that comes out directly Blade Runner, the CEO said.
The truck will be unveiled at Tesla's design studio in Los Angeles, California, which is located on the same site as SpaceX's headquarters. Musk originally planned to unveil the pickup earlier this year, but announced in September that he would push the event back to November.
The date announced Wednesday means that the Tesla pickup will be unveiled at the same time as – but independently of – the Los Angeles Auto Show where Ford is expected to unveil a Mustang-inspired SUV, its first mass-market electric vehicle.
