A Tesla’s security camera captured the moment a man savagely stabbed its rear tire in a seemingly random act of violence.

Syana Segura was left horrified after discovering her Tesla Model Y had been brutally vandalized in July this year.

Segura, who lives in Oak Forest, a Chicago suburb, shared two views of the incident: one from his neighbors’ house and the other from his Tesla’s cameras.

Three men can be seen walking down the residential street, while one of them dressed all in black hovers around the vehicle.

Sharing the images on his TikTok account, Segura added: “I received a notification that I had low tire pressure on my Tesla.

‘He came out to the neighbors who had images of vandalism. I love Tesla and its incredible safety.’

It is unclear if Segura was able to locate the man or reported the incident to police. DailyMail.com has contacted her for more information.

Since sharing the images, they have been viewed almost 500,000 times and viewers have shared their disgust in the comments about the incident.

One person commented: ‘Don’t you know there are 7 cameras recording on the Model Y?’

Another added: “Why are they always attacking Teslas like, of course, you know they have cameras everywhere?”

Tesla vehicles come equipped with Sentry mode which, when enabled, allows the car’s onboard cameras and sensors to remain on.

In February of this year, a would-be car thief in California was caught by the security system and realized he was being recorded mid-theft.

The would-be thief can be seen suddenly realizing that the Cybertruck is recording him and covers his face before attempting to break through the roof of the truck.

Despite attempts, the thief has no chance thanks to the car’s ‘armored glass windows’, another security element of the brand.
