Jeremy Judkins explains why people who have social anxiety and are bad at parking may not want to spend more than $80,000 on a Tesla Cybertruck

A Tesla owner has revealed his opinion on why purchasing a coveted Cybertruck might not be for everyone.

Jeremy Junkins, Cybertruck owner since March 8, took to social media with a long list of complaints about his new vehicle.

His frustrations may not surprise some. Tesla temporarily halted all Cybertruck deliveries in mid-April due to reports that the accelerator pedal was sticking, prompting Tesla to recall nearly 4,000 Cybertrucks.

Now some of the car’s less favorable features have been highlighted in a series of clips posted by Junkins.

One of his warnings is directed at anyone who gets anxious easily, as it suggests that owning this flashy means of transportation attracts a lot of attention.

“The Tesla Cybertruck is not good if you have social anxiety because people are always looking at you,” Judkins said in a tiktok video published on April 17.

Another potential, he explained, is that trying to park at a super charging station can be difficult. In one example, he was having trouble maneuvering the car without feeling like it was going to hit the car in front of him or the supercharger.

After two or three attempts, he said he was embarrassed, feeling people’s gazes on him, and gave up even though he had about 20 percent charge.

“So I literally pulled into the parking spot and acted like I wasn’t even trying to load,” Judkins said. “I walked and got something from Starbucks and then I left and headed to another supercharger.”

Judkins’ latest videos address the latest Cybertruck controversy: its frunk, also known as the front truck.

Several people on social media started noticing in April that the frunk continues to close even if there is something obstructing it.

judkins posted a video Wednesday, where you place various fruits and vegetables under the frunk when it closes.

The door proceeded to cut bananas, carrots and cucumbers in half.

One person in the comments of Judkin’s video wrote: “So it will cut off the fingers, but not the arm.”

This comment, among others, led Judkins to publish another tiktok on Thursday to see if the frunk would indeed cut off his finger.

Spoiler alert: it didn’t. But she came a little close.

Judkins explained that after installing a software update, the frunk was able to detect obstructions when closed.

However, even after the update, the frunk closed quite tightly on Judkins’ finger.

After removing his finger amid moans of pain, he said, “I was afraid for my finger for a second, I’m not going to lie.”

Other Cybertruck owners besides Judkins have been quite open about their problems with the vehicle.

Some have described the truck’s exterior as “a fingerprint magnet” as it has a stainless steel coating. Others have claimed that their trucks seemed to rustwhich a Cybertruck engineer publicly denied at X in February.

‘Stainless steel is reactive and free iron deposited on it rusts. It is just surface contamination and can be easily cleaned,” Wes Morrill. wrote.

The often noticeably large gaps between panels on the truck’s exterior have also raised concerns among some Cybertruck owners. Tech YouTuber Marques Brownlee attributed this issue to its stainless steel construction.

Then there are also the strange cases where the Cybertruck failed from the beginning.

Even though Tesla CEO Elon Musk touted it as “proof of the apocalypse,” that certainly wasn’t true for entrepreneur Thomas Remo.

Remo shared a video of him picking up the Cybertruck only for it to break down “not even six inches from the lot.” He proceeded to crash another ’30 times’ during the first day he had it, according to Remo.

Tesla isn’t having the best year yet, and Musk announced in mid-April that he was laying off 14,000 employees, some of whom were on crucial teams involved in engineering electric vehicles.

Tesla shares are down nearly 28 percent so far this year.
