Tesla boss Elon Musk made a surprise visit to Beijing as he seeks to court officials over self-driving cars.

Musk had already tried to appease Chinese authorities by setting up a data center in Shanghai.
But the trip comes just days after US regulators said a three-year investigation into Tesla’s Autopilot mode had identified at least 13 crashes in which the feature had been involved.
