Two young children were among four people shot at a gas station in a quiet Milwaukee neighborhood.
Gunmen attacked the BP gas station at 60th Street and Oklahoma Avenue at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.
They opened fire on a parked white Nissan, shooting through the doors and windows.
Four people, ages nine, four, 33 and 28, were hit by gunfire and rushed to hospital, where the children are expected to survive, but the adults have life-threatening injuries.
Police said the incident was a targeted shooting, but gave no motive; They are still searching for several suspects.

Two of them were wearing dark tracksuits, while the third was wearing black shorts and a white t-shirt.

They crossed a nearby lot toward the gas station in a line before disappearing from sight.
Minutes later, the same camera recorded them fleeing from the place where they had come.
They ran back across the parking lot and were out of sight again.
Police have not yet confirmed whether those people are suspects or were involved in the shooting.
Witnesses at the scene told local news they did not see anyone arrested and police have not yet released the victims’ identities.
Tracy Fronczak, who lives near the scene of the shooting, told WISN, “It’s scary because there are tons of kids in the neighborhood, kids two apartments down.”
‘There are children all over this area on scooters and bicycles. It’s very scary.’
Minutes later, the same camera captured them fleeing the scene.

Locals said they heard around 15 gunshots and the sound echoed around buildings.
Amanda Figueroa told local news: “We heard a very loud noise, when we came out people told us it was a shooting.”
Police have not shared a specific motive, but said the shooting appeared to have a target.
