Terrifying video shows the moment a worker’s platform spins out of control and falls into the side of a skyscraper in Dubai, shattering its windows and sending giant shards of glass tumbling onto the streets hundreds of feet below.
The workers were left dangling hundreds of feet in the air grip on the sides of their small cage as it was sent flying when a storm suddenly hit, footage shows.
Strong winds cause the crib, which is suspended over the side of a glass skyscraper, to swing out of control.
It spins and flies meters back and forth, and the force of its collision with the building causes large sections of the side of the building to collapse.
The sound of glass breaking can be heard as the cradle hits it, bounces, and then crashes back into the building, sending more glass crashing to the ground.

The sound of breaking glass is heard as the crib crashes into the skyscraper.
Filmed from another high-rise building, the nail-biting incident appears to continue for some time as those on board hold on for dear life.
One is standing, clinging to the edges of the metal basket, while another person appears to be crouching as he braces for impact.
Tom Lewis, the Dubai-based TikToker who shared the shocking clip, captioned it “we’re never ready for a storm in Dubai.”
Strong gusts of wind can be heard whipping high-rise buildings as bad weather arrives.
The clip was filmed from a balcony, and the person filming it appears to return inside as the massacre continues to unfold.
It is unknown how the incident ended and whether the workers were able to emerge safely from the precarious situation.
