Terrifying footage captured the moment a car crashed into several vehicles after weaving through traffic on a busy road.

The terrifying collision took place on Hale Street in Paddington, Brisbane, at 9.45pm last Friday.

Footage of Dascham from another car was shared on Facebook and showed the driver of a black Toyota Celica running in the left lane.

The motorist attempted to drive between a white SUV and a blue hatchback, but the car collided with the two vehicles.

The horrific impact caused the van to spin out of control and crash into a barricade before rolling and landing on its side.

The collision paralyzed traffic and debris was scattered along several meters of the road.

The driver of the SUV was preparing to exit the highway moments before the collision occurred.

Paramedics attended the scene and a Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman told Daily Mail Australia that four people were treated by emergency services.

He said they were all taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a stable condition.

A Queensland Police spokeswoman told the Daily Mail that officers attended the scene.

“A 19-year-old Moorooka man was issued with a traffic offense notice (for) careless driving, due care and attention,” he said.

The accident occurred just meters from Suncorp Stadium, where the Brisbane Broncos played the Manly Sea Eagles in front of thousands of spectators.

Social media users criticized the dangerous driving of the motorist behind the wheel of the sedan.

“This is the s**t that scares me…” wrote one.

“Just mind your own business and then all hell breaks loose,” wrote another.

Others were quick to express concern for the driver and passengers of the other two vehicles.

“Hope everyone is doing well,” one wrote.

Some were baffled by the dangerous maneuver performed by the driver of the sedan.

‘On what planet did they ‘think’ that was going to work?’ one wrote.
