A surveillance camera captured the moment an explosion destroyed a bakery in the Dominican Republic.
Footage shows a woman standing near the bakery’s entrance and a vehicle passing by as an explosion rocks the store in the north-central town of La Vega on Thursday morning.
The oven explosion shattered the bakery’s window, scattering a metal pole and shards of glass onto the street.
The doors of the dental clinic next door were blown open by the impact of the explosion before the frightened woman ran inside for safety.
Six men then ran out of the store before a bystander ran over to an injured individual and ripped off his tank top.

Bakery workers Cristofer Felipe, 27, and his uncle Dany Núñez were also injured, suffering burns covering between 20 and 55 percent of their bodies.
The bakery explosion also damaged an office at a dental clinic next door while a dentist was treating a patient; They were not injured.

“Hopefully there’s really nothing to regret except that lives are fine, apart from the burn issue,” said Felipe’s aunt, Jazmín Felipe. “But it was a very difficult time for everyone.”
Carlos Rodríguez, 35, and a five-year-old girl were treated for minor injuries.
A firefighter, whose name was not released, was treated for smoke inhalation and third-degree burns.
SIN News reported that one of the victims was taken to a hospital 80 miles away in Santo Domingo, the Dominican capital.
