Terrifying images posted on social media captured the moment a Frontier Airlines plane burst into flames while landing at a major airport.
Video posted by Tyler Herrick shows the landing gear of Flight 1326 going up in flames as it landed at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada from San Diego, California, on Saturday.
Smoke began to billow from the plane as it moved down the runway and turned.
Fortunately, as the video shows, firefighters were already on the scene and began spraying water before the plane reached the gate.
The flight landed in Las Vegas at 3:37 p.m., about half an hour later than scheduled, according to publicly available flight tracking information.
