NRL star Michael Chee Kam was hospitalized Thursday night after a mid-game attack in gruesome scenes captured on live TV.
The second rower of the Wests Tigers collapsed and bumped into Parramatta Eels’ second rower, Shaun Lane, after tackling.
Chee Kam’s head hit Lane’s hip before hitting the turf, stopping the game for about 10 minutes.

The shocking moment came in the middle of the first half and the game was stopped immediately when the team doctors came to his rescue.
Club officials said he was aware after his departure and is expected to make a full recovery.
Chee Kam was one of three tigers who failed to end a willing game, with Adam Doueihi and Sam McIntyre retiring early with a concussion.
Many fans went to social media to send their best wishes to the Samoan international.
“But most of all I think of Chee Kam. I hope you are doing well, ‘wrote one concerned fan.
“I can’t stop thinking about you, Cheeks,” added another.
“That was horrible to watch, I hope his poor family is okay too!” a third fan replied.
Tigers coach Michael Maguire said nrl.com Chee Kam managed to talk to everyone before leaving for the hospital.
“Chee is a great character and all the boys love him and they were all concerned, but it’s good to hear that he’s okay,” he said.
The eels managed to overcome the undersized Tigers outfit by 26 points to 16.
Chee Kam’s head hit Lane’s hip before hitting the turf, stopping play, but club officials said he left the hospital and would fully recover
