It comes after fans wondered why the Steve Irwin Gala is being held in the US.
In March, they took to social media to question why the event is being held in America, considering Steve is an Australian icon.
“Having the Steve Irwin Gala in the United States instead of Australia is disappointing to say the least,” one fan wrote.
Another user asked: “Steve is an Australian icon, why this in America?”
“Time to move on… your Aussie, he was Aussie so bring him home… there’s no support in America at all,” one commented.

The site is also home to a restaurant called ‘Warrior’ as a tribute to Terri’s late husband Steve and granddaughter Grace Warrior.
