A Tennessee mother has spoken of her anguish after accidentally shooting her daughter to death while rummaging through her purse with her gun.
DeAnn Radley accidentally fired her gun through her purse, hitting her daughter Dearria Radley, 13, as she reached for her keys Saturday night, police said.
Radley accidentally pulled the trigger of his drawn .40 caliber semi-automatic pistol at approximately 10 p.m., according to reports.
Moments later, the shocked mother called 911 after seeing Dearria’s blood and realizing her devastating actions.
The tragedy occurred at the family’s apartment on Edgehill Avenue in Nashville, Tennessee.

‘My world is falling apart, I loved that girl so much. “It’s a nightmare, her words will never be able to describe the pain I feel,” said the heartbroken mother.
“I didn’t know my gun was loaded in my bag and fired through my bag,” DeAnn told local news outlet WSMV 4.
“Then I saw the blood and, oh God…” he recalled.

The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department said the investigation is ongoing but no charges have yet been filed.
“I want her to be remembered for that angel voice in those beautiful eyes,” Radley said.
‘She is such a beautiful girl. “This is something I’m not prepared for,” she added.
Radley is now fundraising to cover Dearria’s funeral costs.
“My 13-year-old daughter was accidentally shot to death and I don’t have insurance to bury her,” Radley wrote in their GoFundMe page.

‘Thirteen years. We’ve been through everything together and my baby is gone. I can not do it. I can’t do it, man. My baby, my baby,’ Radley sobbed in a video posted to his Facebook account.
“I don’t wish this on anyone, my baby is gone,” she said through tears.
Dearria’s grandmother, Irish Radley, told local news outlet WKRN that she, too, is struggling to come to terms with the tragedy.
“I just hope she walks through the door and this is all just a dream or she calls me, ‘Granny, what are you doing?'” he said.
He added: “I will never receive those phone calls again.” I’ll never get those text messages: ‘Grandma, can I go down there?’ It’s the little things I’m going to miss.’
