Saying I was skeptical when I paid only $18 for a pair of AirPods clones of the new Chinese drop shipping website ‘Temu’ is an understatement.

In fact, I ordered on a whim with a sinking feeling that I was wasting my money on this new shopping platform that has been riddled with reviews and controversial opinions since its launch.

Despite this, I took the plunge.

Temu is one of those sites that urges you to purchase other items to go along with your purchase at drastically reduced prices. Safe to say I fell for this at checkout and my order was $30 total.

But don’t ask me what else I bought; I seriously can’t remember, which tells you that Temu is as hit or miss as any other shopping portal on the internet, and very similar to the eCommerce site Shein.

Temu works with DHL, Australia Post, PFLogistics, DPEX and FAST HORSE EXPRESS to ensure fairly fast delivery times so delays are rarely an issue.

Bottom line: This is a legitimate store/app; however, like anything very cheap, you have to accept that the quality may suffer in the process.

The biggest problem I have is trying to disconnect them when I want to talk to someone on the phone directly, rather than through the pods.
