Teyana Taylor will play Dionne Warwick in an upcoming biopic.
While appearing on the next episode of the program Tamron Hall ShowThe 32-year-old multi-hyphenate talent has revealed that she will be portraying the music icon in a new movie.
The One Thousand and One actress also told the talk show host of the same name that production on the project has already begun and is currently underway.

The model also revealed that her inspiration was Angela Bassett’s portrayal of Tina Turner in the 1993 biopic – What’s Love Got to Do With It.
Also co-starring in her performance was Jamie Foxx as Ray Charles in the 2004 Academy Award-winning Ray.
“I miss the time when movies were like that — when you had to really get to know them and make use of them,” she said.
Taylor also revealed his efforts to get to know Warwick better: “We talk almost every day.” ‘This is my girl.’
Reality TV star Teyana & Iman added, “I’ve always been a firm believer and stood up for safety.”
“She’s had a great career, and I think now it’s about making her feel as safe as possible to tell her story,” said the New York native, explaining that she wants justice in Warwick.
“A lot of these stories are misunderstood or somewhat dramatized,” she continued. “That’s not really where we want to go.” The full interview with Tamron Hall will be released on ABC on April 3.
