A manhunt is underway after a teenager was indecently assaulted and followed in a busy shopping centre.
Police were called to the Ocean Keys shopping centre in Clarkson, north of Perth, after a man, believed to be in his 10s, approached the girl while she was shopping on Tuesday.
The attacker, who was not known to the girl, indecently assaulted her.
The incident is known to have occurred on the main street of the mall.
“The victim managed to get away from the attacker and is believed to have been followed for a short period of time before the attacker fled the scene through the shopping centre,” a Western Australia Police spokesman said.

Detectives have launched an investigation.
The man at the time was wearing bright red shoes.
There is no other description available of the man.
