A teenager was airlifted to hospital with suspected spinal injuries after jumping from a boardwalk into a shallow pool.
Paramedics were called to a shallow ocean pool below the Terrigal Boardwalk on the New South Wales Central Coast at 3pm on Saturday after a boy was reported to have jumped “into the shallow water from the rocks” from a height of three meters.
A CareFlight specialist doctor and “multiple” NSW Ambulance paramedics attended the scene.
“He was treated for suspected spinal injuries as well as a head injury,” a NSW Ambulance spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia.
“He was airlifted to RNS hospital in a serious but stable condition.”
