Horror as teenage girl’s body is found at abandoned factory

The body of a teenage girl has been found at an abandoned aluminum factory.
Victorian Police confirmed officers found the body at the former Alcoa smelter site in Point Henry, near Geelong, on Friday morning.
It’s understood the girl may have been as young as 16 years old.
Her death is not being treated as suspicious.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
The Alcoa smelter closed in 2014 and has remained vacant with the company stating it is ‘working alongside the community to reimagine the site’.
It once produced aluminium.
