A teenager hits a bus passenger with a bottle and hits a man with a crutch in a terrifying attack

A gang of teenagers has been accused of hospitalizing a man after attacking him with a crutch and assaulting a woman with a ‘bottle’ on a bus.
The four girls have been charged with assaulting two passengers on a bus in Thornton Heath, south London, in August last year.
A woman was allegedly hit over the head with a ‘bottle’ after the suspects got on the bus and sat behind her.
A man sitting nearby was then allegedly attacked with a crutch, leaving him hospitalized with a head injury.
The Metropolitan Police released images of the suspects today and have urged the public to come forward with any information that could identify them.

In a statement, the Metropolitan Police said: “The incident occurred at around 12:30am on 28 August 2022 aboard the 250 route bus from Streatham to Croydon.
The victims, a man and a woman, were sitting in the upper deck of the bus when four women boarded and sat behind them.
‘As the bus was in the vicinity of Brigstock Road, Thornton Heath, the group hit the woman with a bottle.
Both the man and the woman moved from their seats, but were followed before the man was struck with a crutch. The group of women then exited the bus. The man required hospital treatment for a head injury.
