Teenager is TRAPPED in a stormwater drain, while emergency services come to the scene to rescue him

A teenager is trapped in a stormwater drain, and the emergency services on the scene try to rescue him.

The boy became trapped in a stormwater drain on Chapel Road in Bankstown, south-west Sydney, on Tuesday morning.

Paramedics were called to the scene just before 11 a.m. and are currently trying to get the teen out.

The boy is understood to have broken his arm after falling into the drain.
