The teenager, who was 16 at the time, was returning from watching the sunset with two friends when she started crying and ran off the road.

‘I ran too much and went off the road on the right side. My side of the vehicle hit the power pole and we started spinning and rolling,” Littledike said. Inside edition.

‘We didn’t have our seat belts. So when we were going around and I was the first one out, I wasn’t on the ground. In fact, I was hanging from the power line because of my broken leg.

Molina was unconscious and Rasmussen was bleeding profusely when neighbors and family found him.

Although both teenagers suffered broken vertebrae and bones, among other injuries, they were taken to the hospital to make a full recovery.

Littledike was ejected 30 feet into the air, but the way she landed on the power line ended up saving her life.

“In the process of being thrown, my arm was torn off, it was hanging by the skin of my back, and then my femur snapped on the wire and was hanging in front of my face,” Littledike said.

‘Many people ask: “How did you not bleed to death?” Well, the main artery in my leg was pinched by the electrical cord, and then the main artery in my arm was cauterized when I was electrocuted.

She continued, “I remember I was drowning in my blood because it was running down my leg, it was running out of my arm and it was going into my nose, and I was just wiping it away because I was literally drowning.”

Littledike required 21 surgeries to treat a fractured femur, humerus and clavicle, as well as a brachial plexus injury.

“(A lifeguard) just grabbed my leg and had to pull it off the cable, and you can see my body fall lifeless onto the stretcher,” he said.

‘They put the tourniquet on me and had to remove the bone from the wire. And they said I screamed. And then once I hit the stretcher, there was silence.

“I had a total of five amputations because they tried to save as much as possible because the more leg you have to walk with a prosthesis, the easier it is,” Littledike explained.

‘So they tried to take it on my knee, through my knee. My leg kept rotting because the bone was broken too high. Every two days they came in and took more legs. And go through surgery, over and over again, to have more and more legs cut off. Finally they cut him to the bone.

The teenager recalled the moment her father told her he had lost his leg and said the room felt heavy.

And I thought, “Did any of my friends lose a limb?” And he said, “No.” And I said, “Well, I’m glad I’m the one who lost control since I was driving.”

‘At that moment, you are 16 years old. All the dreams you had in your head are gone.’

‘In 20 minutes I was fine. I literally named it. I called my nub Gobi and gave him a full dance. “I don’t know what happened to me in the hospital, but I went smoothly from such a bad state of mental health to such a positive one.”

Since his accident, Littledike has built a social media presence by sharing his story and finding humor in the situation.

‘Before my accident, I was struggling with my mental health. I wanted to commit suicide. I never really planned my future because I didn’t think there was going to be one. “I wasn’t happy,” she said.

‘I look back and say, “Wow, you’re pathetic.” But why now, look at me. “I am in a completely different and more difficult situation, but I am much happier.”
