A 16-year-old Florida girl has been charged with shooting her baby-faced boyfriend at point-blank range as they posed for photos with a gun.
Jamalyse Alvarez was arrested without incident Wednesday, more than a week after fatally shooting her boyfriend, David Anthony Vargas Acker, also 16, around 1 a.m. on July 30.
Orange County Sheriff’s deputies said David brought the gun to the home in the 1100 block of Easton Street, where the couple and their friend were pointing and posing with the revolver.
During the ‘gun game’, Alvarez reportedly pointed the gun at her boyfriend before pulling the trigger and killing him.
Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for the girl, the State Attorney’s Office said. She is now being charged as a juvenile and faces one count of aggravated homicide of a minor, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office told DailyMail.com.

David was the fourth of six children. His heartbroken parents want justice for their son. His mother, Veronica Acker, said he was the “glue that held this family together.” fox35 Orlando reported.
After the shooting, David was taken to the hospital where he later died.
“It feels like a nightmare and we want to wake up from it,” Veronica cried while speaking to local channel Fox35 Orlando.
His father, David Vargas, could barely keep calm.
“I haven’t eaten in three days,” she said. “I can’t stop crying. I wake up crying and I go to sleep crying. Yesterday they practically had to drag me to bed.”

David was described as a special young man with a promising future while his family was left devastated by their overwhelming loss.
The family said their son planned to graduate early and work as a contractor alongside his father.
Adrianna Acker, one of David’s sisters, created a GoFundMe to help his family in their moments of pain and despair.
‘Our little brother David Vargas was taken from us on July 30, 2024 due to gun violence,’ Adrianna wrote.
‘He was only 16 years old and had so much more life ahead of him. He was always full of joy. David brought laughter, happiness and light to every room he walked into. He had so much love for everyone.
‘This tragedy has left a huge void not only in our lives, but in the lives of everyone who had the privilege of experiencing David.
Adrianna said the money raised will go toward her brother’s funeral and legal fees, as her brother’s death is still under investigation.
“Parents, hug your children, tell them you love them. Tomorrow is not promised,” she wrote.
As of Monday afternoon, more than $16,700 of its $20,000 goal had been raised.
