Teen Mom’s Kailyn Lowry revealed that her plans to get breast augmentation were derailed due to her weight.
The reality TV star, 32, opened up about her “humiliating” phone call with a plastic surgeon’s office on Friday’s episode of her show Barely Famous. podcast.
The mother of seven shared that she has been told she needs to lose up to 50 pounds before she can be considered for surgery.
‘I want to get a boob job, right? I call everywhere. I am making these consultations to get my boobs done. Do you know what they told me? They told me I need to lose 40 pounds. So 40 or 50 pounds, more like 50, but maybe I’ll come out with 40 pounds, before they can operate on me,” he shared.
“That was humbling,” added the star, who was seeking a breast reduction.

Lowry shared that the conversation made her cry. “I’ve been wanting to do this breast reduction, implants, lift, whatever,” Lowry continued.
‘She said to me, “Do you still want to schedule this?” I’m literally sobbing. The hydraulic works have already begun.’
Then, the podcast host shared that she went to make the consultation to find out a budget for the procedure.
“I don’t even know if I’ll be able to fix my double chin,” he said.
“To tell you the truth, I would like to do that at the same time as my boob job because why would I pay for anesthesia twice?” the star reflected.
Lowry then encouraged those thinking about plastic surgery to consider the headspace they are in when consulting with a plastic surgeon’s office.
‘If you are looking to schedule a cosmetic procedure, your BMI cannot be higher than whatever. Don’t call on a Wednesday. Don’t call in the middle of the work day because they will tell you, based on your current height and weight, if they can operate on you and they won’t be able to operate on me.’
‘Make sure you’re in the right headspace. If not, you will feel humiliated by the fact that they may not be able to operate on you.’
The star revealed she has two gym memberships but hasn’t made fitness her top priority in recent months.

The Teen Mom alum has a total of seven children.
She welcomed twins Verse and Valley last fall with her boyfriend Elijah Scott, with whom she also shares her 15-month-old son Rio.
The star is also mother to sons Creed, three, and Lux, six, with ex Chris Lopez, son Lincoln, 10, with ex Javi Marroquín and son Isaac, 14, with his former Jo Rivera.
In January, the star revealed she’s willing to undergo another ‘mommy makeover’ after welcoming babies aged six and seven, and said Ozempic is on her radar.
Kailyn lost weight after undergoing weight loss surgery in 2016.
‘I’m afraid. I’m ready for 2024 because I need to take Ozempic shots or something,” she said on his podcast, Baby Mamas No Drama.
‘Would you do another mommy makeover?’ Vee Riveria, Kailyn’s co-host, then asked.
‘Yes, it was the best decision I have ever made. “The worst decision I ever made was not to wait until I was done having kids,” she said.
“Because let me tell you why, I stayed away from it until I got pregnant with Lux,” she said, referencing the son she welcomed in 2017.
Kailyn said she went to the gym “five days a week” to keep the weight off.

“If you’re going to have plastic surgery, you need to keep it,” he said.
Surgery, he said, should serve as a starting point for weight loss.
“It’s a good start to a lifestyle change,” he said. “It was a great start for me and I was able to keep it up until I got pregnant again.” “That’s probably why I got pregnant again,” she added, laughing.
While Lowry has reservations about another weight loss procedure, she was all for having a breast reduction.
‘I’ll get a reduction no matter what. At some point I will have small tits,” she said.
Lowry became a household name after appearing on 16 and Pregnant in 2010. She documented her journey with motherhood on the show for 12 years, before leaving the Teen Mom franchise in 2022.
