A teenager was killed during a shooting on Wednesday in Chicago while cycling on the west side of the city.

The 17-year-old boy drove around 5 pm on a sidewalk in Humboldt Park.

A red Hyundai SUV approached the teenager when two people came out while one of them fired at the Chicago police.

The teenager was hit several times in the head and body, police said.
