Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Teddi Mellencamp is getting candid about her split from husband Edwin Arroyave amid the affair drama, admitting that her loneliness is a “constant pain.”

Her confession comes just months after DailyMail.com revealed that Mellencamp was having a months-long love affair with German horse trainer Simon Schröeder behind their spouses’ backs.

The scandalous affair was reportedly the catalyst for their divorce, with a source claiming to DailyMail.com that Mellencamp decided to file the lawsuit once she became caught up in the affair.

Since the news broke, Mellencamp has made a series of cryptic posts about their split, including on Christmas, when she shared that she was alone and without her three children.

Now, the star is opening up about feeling lonely, which she talked about with Erika Jayne during a Thursday episode of her iHeart Radio podcast. Diamonds in the rough.

The two were accompanied by a psychotherapist. Dr. Nadine Macalusowho describes herself as an installment of the ‘toxic relationship expert psychotherapist’ program.

During the conversation, Mellencamp talked about the fact that she was a natural introvert and enjoyed her time alone, but tearfully revealed that she’s been feeling “really lonely” lately.

“I don’t know if those feelings of loneliness mean I’ve made a mistake, or it’s just something I have to get used to and this is the new change in my life,” the former Bravo TV star said through tears.

He admitted it was a “confusing” part of what was going on.

However, Dr. Macaluso was able to empathize with Mellencamp and told her that it was normal and that she, too, felt alone while going through a split.

“I don’t think that means you need to go back, I think it’s something that you’re going to learn to develop a deeper relationship with yourself,” the psychotherapist said.

Jayne agreed that “none of this was easy,” as Dr. Macaluso said loneliness can sometimes be “painful.”

The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star agreed.

“It’s a constant pain that I try to fake, but then, and I’ve talked about this in therapy, it’s almost like I’m drawn into another chaotic situation,” Mellencamp admitted during the episode.

This is also not the first time in recent months that Mellencamp has admitted he was struggling.

Earlier this month, she shared on Instagram Stories that she was suffering from “raging anxiety.”

“I woke up today at 3 a.m. with tremendous anxiety,” Mellencamp wrote in his story at the time. “I’m not saying this out of pity, it’s for anyone who has woken up with any of the following symptoms.”

He then began listing common symptoms of anxiety disorders, which included “trouble concentrating or making decisions,” “feeling irritable, tense, or restless,” “heart palpitations,” and “trouble sleeping.”

In the following post, Mellencamp told her followers the seven things she does to help herself when she feels anxious.

Some of her tips included getting fresh air and “setting boundaries.”

Mellencamp filed for divorce from her husband of 13 years, Arroyave, citing irreconcilable differences on Nov. 1, and listed Oct. 20 as the date of separation.

A source alleged to DailyMail.com that the affair occurred while Schröeder’s wife, Karli Postel, was pregnant with their second child.

To make matters worse, Mellencamp and her horse trainer were rumored to be together while Postel was giving birth in Florida.

The two have since filed for divorce.
