Gemma Collins shared an emotional post as her parents celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary after recently fought with Covid.
The TOWIE star, 40, previously revealed that her parents had both tested positive for Covid, but her father, Alan, continued to fight for his life in the hospital.
Gemma admitted to crying as she wrote the post, stating that she “ didn’t know if her dad was going to make it. ”

Gemma shares her relief that her father has overcome his struggle and writes, ‘Tears are pouring down my cheeks as I post these but happy tears.
“Three months ago, we didn’t know if you’d make it outside of ourselves, heartbroken every day, and the truth is, we didn’t see much hope!
‘We had everyone there sending healing love and prayers, it was a miracle you endured, but TODAY 44 years MARRIED to MUM, it’s such an emotional day !!

The reality star said that while he has left the hospital, he is showing signs that he has developed a tall Covid.
She revealed: ‘He’s got a tall Covid so every day is a step in the right direction, his mental strength is unreal and he’s determined to get back to his best !!
“I had to tell him this week when I found out he had sneaked into the work !!”

In January, Gemma revealed her father’s recovery from COVID-19w as the ‘greatest gift of all’ as she prepared to celebrate her 40th birthday on Sunday.
She took to Instagram to share a glamorous photo and to thank her supporters for the mountains of presents she’s already received ahead of her big day.
It came after she revealed she hadn’t slept for days while her beloved father Alan fought the new coronavirus in the landlady.

As she thanked her pals for the piles of design gifts she had, she noted that the best gift of all was her father Allen’s restorative health.
She wrote: “ As I turn 39 + 1 tomorrow I’m thinking about what an incredible life I’ve had so far I’ll be giving my full speech tomorrow but I’m overwhelmed with the wealth of gifts arriving I’m just so excited to open the mall!
‘I’ve seen Versace packs Gucci packs Chanel packs so thank you I’ll find out who sent them tomorrow but the greatest gift of all is my dad recovering slowly and things are looking positive baby steps but he gets stronger every day! X.’
The reality star admitted she was so worried about her beloved father Alan that she struggled to relax at night despite her grueling schedule.
She said during an Instagram Live interview with Sassy Shop Wax on Friday, ‘My dad really wasn’t well – you can tell how tired I am. I literally didn’t sleep. Since he was in the hospital, I was so worried the whole time. ‘
‘Greatest Gift of All’: And as she thanked her friends for the stacks of design gifts she had, she noted that the best gift of all was her father Alan’s restorative health.
“It’s only now that I’m catching up on my sleep,” she continued, before revealing, “He’s out of the hospital, I don’t have to worry. Only now that he’s home can I get everything back together.
‘I couldn’t ask for more. I’ll be 40 on Sunday. Yes, I have bags under my eyes, but my father is alive. I can eat a piece of cake with him. ‘
TV personality Gemma had previously revealed that her father could return home from the hospital after his COVID-19 fight – just in time to celebrate her 40th birthday.
Gemma announced the good news on a new episode of her BBC Sounds podcast on Wednesday, saying: ‘[My dad] coming home this week so it’s the best birthday in lockdown I could ever wish for. ‘
