A transgender teacher with prosthetic Z-cup breasts has finally been granted leave from her Canadian school after photos emerged of her in menswear.
Kayla Lemieux, who claims the breasts are real and the result of a medical condition, has come under fire for her provocative clothing, with parents previously claiming she is “mocking women and the educational experience.”
The Halton District School Board confirmed on Tuesday that she had been placed on paid leave, although she continues to be paid for her role at Oakville Trafalgar High School.
“While not currently on active assignment, the teacher will remain employed by the HDSB (Halton District School Board),” board spokeswoman Heather Francey told the Toronto sun.
It came as parents of students lined up to attack the school board for not enforcing a stricter dress code on Lemieux sooner.

A mother told the board at a meeting on Wednesday night that it was imperative that “forms of identity and expression presented in the school environment be closely scrutinized against the child’s protection practices.”
The school has had three bomb threats since September 2022.
Lemieux has oddly maintained that her breasts are natural and the result of a condition called “gigantomastia” — though she admits she’s never received a formal medical diagnosis.
She also claims to be intersex and not transgender.
But her story has been questioned by Lemieux’s neighbors, who claim to have seen her in menswear — minus the prosthetics and wig.
A neighbor identified that person as Lemieux. They were later seen driving in and out of the apartment building and later walking on the sidewalk.
Photos published by the New York Post showed a man believed to be Lemieux dressed without the breasts and in scruffy, gray clothing.

Last week, a person with a blow to Lemieux was seen wearing men’s clothing — minus the prosthetics and wig. Lemieux is pictured in the summer of 2022

Lemieux has made headlines multiple times and began transitioning from male to female in 2021
“He wears breast prostheses extremely rarely,” the neighbor said. “He puts on the breasts to teach, sometimes when he goes for a walk or when the police come to visit.”
A law enforcement source also says officers — both in uniform and plainclothes — conduct regular welfare checks at her apartment.
The neighbor claims that normally Lemieux’s outfit is absolutely unmissable since he started going out in public as a woman in May 2022.
‘I drove by. You can see the breasts from as far away as you’re driving,’ he said. “He put on the whole outfit and just walked up and down the Guelph Line — no bags, just walking. Everyone slows down because you can’t believe what they’re seeing.”
Lemeieux’s performance has been the subject of fierce debate.
This week Ontario’s Education Minister Stephen Lecce told the Toronto Star: “Halton’s parents are rightly outraged by what is happening.”

‘The well-being of children must be leading in our judgments in school boards and in government.’
“I don’t wear prosthetic breasts. These are real,” Canada’s Lemieux told the New York Post last week, explaining that she’s not “transgender,” but was born “intersex.”
“My condition is classified as gigantomastia, which can also be called macromastia or breast hypertrophy,” Lemieux said, though she noted that she had never received a formal medical diagnosis.
