A teacher accused of rape and child pornography may have brought baked goods to school that were filled with her body fluids, it is claimed.

Cynthia Perkins, 34, is suspected of delivering contaminated food that was served to children at a school in Livingston Parish, Louisiana.

According to WBRZ, parents of Westside Junior High School were informed of the study last week.

A mother said she was afraid that her child had eaten the contaminated food and said the idea & # 39; disgusting and sick & # 39; used to be.

Dozens of parents have reportedly met with school authorities to express their fears about the case.

The infected items are said to contain donuts and a cupcake, and researchers are now trying to determine how many children may have been affected.

A mother said her child would be tested on anything and everything that I could have her tested on & # 39; after the possible infection.

However, school authorities said there was no district policy about which foods could be brought into the site.

The baked goods are said to have been brought in from the home of Perkins and her husband Dennis, who were both arrested last month.

The circumstances in which the contaminated food was served remain unclear.

The bizarre claim is the last turn in a study that came to light on October 23 when the couple was booked for rape and child pornography.

Cynthia Perkins, a teacher at Livingston Parish since 2012, is accused of two counts of first-degree rape.

She is also faced with 60 counts of pornography production with a young person under the age of 13.

Her husband Dennis, the deputy of a former sheriff, is also confronted with counts of rape and the production of pornography, as well as allegations of video voyeurism and obscenity.

Police said Mr. Perkins had thrown his cell phone off a bridge just before he was arrested in an alleged attempt to destroy evidence.

The 44-year-old was fired from his job as a deputy the day after his arrest.

& # 39; It is a sad day for us, for all law enforcement officers, if you arrest one yourself & # 39 ;, said Sheriff Jason Ard at the time.

& # 39; I cannot approve these alleged acts. I'm disappointed. I have always considered Denny a friend and a family member. & # 39;

The pair was arrested after a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, the sheriff's office said.

& # 39; Protecting Louisiana children is one of my top priorities & # 39 ;, Attorney General Jeff Landry said at the time of their arrest.
