Paramore paid an emotional tribute to Robert Pattison as they opened Taylor Swift’s concert at London’s Wembley Stadium on Saturday.
Pattinson became a global heartthrob as vampire Edward Cullen in the 2008 film Twilight, which featured a Paramore song called Decode.
While opening for Swift at Wembley on Saturday, Paramore performed a cover of Decode and mentioned Pattison, 38, hinting that he might have been in the audience.
The band’s lead singer, Hayley Williams, praised Pattinson’s fiancée, Suki Waterhouse, 32, who was also one of Swift’s opening acts that night.
Williams, 35, then lovingly dedicated “this next song to Mr. Waterhouse,” in a video a fan account posted on X, previously Twitter.

Swift and Waterhouse have been longtime friends, and although they are not touring together, Waterhouse made a special appearance at her friend’s show on Saturday.
“Do you see Suki over there? Suki did great, Suki Waterhouse,” Williams enthused on stage that night, earning a round of applause from the audience.
“But I’d like to dedicate this next song to Mr. Waterhouse,” Williams said, prompting another round of applause. “This is for you, Robert.”
Leaving no doubt about what song she was about to sing, she also repeated one of Pattinson’s famous lines from Twilight: “This is the skin of a killer, Bella.”
Based on the bestselling young adult novels by Stephenie Meyer, the four Twilight films star Pattison as a vampire named Edward Cullen who falls in love with an ordinary girl named Bella Swan, played by Kristen Stewart.
Decode had not been a regular feature of Paramore’s opening performances for Taylor, as they accompanied her on tour, according to People.
During another part of their performance, Paramore was forced to briefly stop the show after noticing a fan in the crowd in need of medical attention.
The band, who have been supporting the singer during the European leg of her Eras Tour, briefly interrupted their hit song to check on an audience member.
A few lines into Only Exception, Williams, who noticed a fan in need of medical attention, told the rest of his bandmates, “We need to stop,” before asking some members of the crowd, “Are you guys okay?”
The packed stadium quickly fell silent as the fan received security help, and Hayley told the crowd: “I’m sorry, let’s make sure you’re okay before we start again.”
As the entire stadium fell silent, Hayley attempted to lighten the mood with a joke, saying: “Wow, Wembley seems really quiet here now.”

This comes after Swiftie fans were left in an uproar during the opening moments of the singer’s Wembley show, after being trapped outside the stadium as her concert began on Thursday.
The Cruel Summer hitmaker, 34, is currently back in London for five more shows – but some excited fans missed the first moments of her first gig in the capital.
MailOnline can also reveal that some fans missed out on the first few songs, from the Lover era, while waiting to receive their wristbands.
Swifties were left angry after being denied entry to the stadium due to a maintenance issue after security staff ran out of wristbands.
Fans were begging to be let in sooner so they wouldn’t miss the start of the show, where the star first sang Cruel Summer, The Man and Miss Americana and Heartbreak Prince.
One concert-goer said: “It was chaos, they wouldn’t let anyone in without a wristband. They had some but they ran out and you had to wait a long time each time until they got more.”
This comes after Taylor, 34, announced five new opening acts on Instagram earlier this month, including Raye and Suki Waterhouse for the Wembley Stadium dates.
Fronted by Hayley, the band have been touring Europe with Taylor and will be joined by a variety of female talent at the Wembley shows.
Aside from Paramore, who are scheduled to play every show, the other artists will each perform one night.
On August 16, British artist Holly Humberstone performed, and the following night singer and actress Suki Waterhouse took the stage.
Maisie Peters will perform on August 19, before multi-BRIT award-winning singer RAYE supports Taylor on August 20.
Announcing the news, Taylor wrote on her Story: ‘Just wanted to let you all know about something coming up that I’m really excited about – we’re adding 5 amazing artists to our 5 Wembley shows, taking place right before Paramore!’
Swift is pictured performing at Wembley on Friday, the second date of her engagement at the iconic London venue during her lucrative Eras Tour.
“I asked them to play on this tour because I love their music and I think they’ll rock Wembley Stadium. Go check them out if you haven’t already! It’s going to be a great five nights of fun!”
These August performances mark the final dates of Taylor’s UK tour and bring her total number of Wembley Stadium shows to eight nights – the most she has performed in any city during her record-breaking tour.
Following these performances, the singer will take a break until her tour resumes in Canada in November.
He will then continue with the remainder of his tour dates across the Atlantic before the Eras Tour concludes in December 2024.
