A 90-year-old grandmother has called herself Taylor Swift’s “oldest fan” after traveling across the Atlantic to see her favorite singer in London and Paris.
Nancy Strong, from Dallas, Texas, began supporting the pop star 15 years ago when Kanye West ambushed her onstage at the 2009 MTV VMAs.
And this year, for the first time he was able to see her live when the musician began the European leg of her record-breaking Eras tour.
Her granddaughters, Jenn Strong, 30, and Brianne Pattison, 36, are also Swifties and managed to score three tickets to Taylor’s Paris show for $98 each.
But when Nancy was in the UK on business and noticed that Taylor’s show at Wembley coincided with her visit, she knew she had to give it a try and come back.

Jenn, who works for a nonprofit childhood cancer fund, also secured tickets that cost $800 per person through an outside vendor.
Nancy, who remained standing for the entire three-and-a-half hours of dancing, is also looking forward to seeing her for a third time when her tour returns to the US, calling Taylor a “phenomenon”.
‘She’s amazing and universal. I’m in awe of it,’ she gushed. ‘I never sit down. I love getting up and moving.’
‘You pick up energy from the crowd.’
The grandmother also expressed that even at 90 years old, “your heart is still that of a 20-year-old,” meaning Taylor’s songs still resonate across generations.
“I’ve been a semi-fan since 2009, when Kayne did a number on him,” Nancy added.
“Her lyrics speak to everyone. My favorite song is The Man. As a woman who started in business in the ’70s and ’80s, I can understand it.”
Her granddaughter Jenn also commented that while “money comes and goes, memories last forever,” speaking about spending $1,600 on last-minute tickets to London for her and Nancy.
