Taylor Swift’s former best friend Karlie Kloss was spotted in the stands of the singer’s latest show in Los Angeles on Wednesday night.
Their attendance came as a huge surprise to Swift’s devoted fanbase, as the couple’s six-year friendship, which was plagued by rumors of a secret lesbian romance, reportedly came to an end sometime in 2019.
Swift didn’t attend any of Kloss’s weddings to Joshua Kushner and the model’s close relationship with Scooter Braun may have been the final nail in the coffin.
Braun’s Ithaca Holdings bought Swift’s master recordings in 2019 for a whopping $330 million from Big Machine Records and sold them to a private equity firm the following year.
Swift has publicly condemned the move and is currently in the process of re-recording her first six albums.
But Kloss, who previously vowed to “always have” Swift’s back, sat proudly in the audience as the Grammy Award winner took the stage at SoFi Stadium.

Plot twist: Taylor Swift’s former best friend Karlie Kloss was spotted in the stands at the singer’s latest show in Los Angeles on Wednesday night.
The 31-year-old runway maven was joined by two friends, one of whom is Misha Nonoo, a close friend of Megan Markle who is married to billionaire Mike Hess.
Kloss tried to keep a low profile by wearing a casual look that consisted of a cream vest, baggy jeans and Adidas sneakers.
She was first photographed arriving at the show and then filmed by a fan inside the venue, which was shared on social media.
The ‘Swifties’ took to social media in droves to react to Kloss’ surprise appearance, writing: ‘I’ve been waiting for this moment.’
They also brought up the fact that Kloss was not in the VIP section of the venue.
‘Karlie paid to get a ticket to attend the tour were you???? she is not in the VIP tent????’ wrote a fan.
‘IF karlie just went on the eras tour without talking to taylor, without taylor inviting her, which suggests her seat in a random place. if karlie just bought a ticket and left… that’s so funny,’ read another tweet.
They added: “Like I’m a little crazy and obsessed and Tay needs a restraining order.”
Some fans noted that Karlie hasn’t “missed a single (Swift) tour” since the duo met in 2012.
Swift and Kloss’ worlds first collided in 2012 when the “Mean” singer admitted to Vogue that she “loves” Kloss and “bakes cookies with her!”
Kloss caught wind of the compliment and tried to get the ball rolling on a future hangout by tweeting, “Hi @taylorswift13 love @voguemagazine cover!! Your kitchen or mine? :)’
They were first photographed together in November 2013 when the Grammy Award winner served as musical entertainment for that year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, in which Kloss participated.
Their friendship continued to grow in 2014 as they embarked on an epic cross-country road trip together and enjoyed countless nights in New York City.
The duo even got ready for the 2014 Met Gala, which they documented on Instagram.
In November 2014, the besties shared an epic runway moment when Swift walked the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show for the second time.
