Real Madrid has submitted a request to La Liga to move its last game of the season to a concert
Swift’s Madrid leg of her hit Eras tour will take place on May 30 as she tours Europe
Moving the match should not affect the LaLiga title race too much, given that Real are already six points ahead of second-placed Girona and eight ahead of Barcelona.
Real Betis, on the other hand, are currently in seventh place in the league and are one point behind Real Sociedad in the fight for the last European spot in LaLiga.
Moving their game could also force Sociedad to move forward in the name of justice as teams fight to qualify for Europe.
Swift’s tour has also raised concerns for Lyon, due to the risk of her concert coinciding with the Ligue 1 relegation play-off.
Lyon currently sit just three points off the Ligue 1 relegation play-off spot.
