Taylor Swift appeared to reference her breakup with ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn while sharing moving lyrics from her new album The Tortured Poets Department.

Taylor Swift fans are counting down the days until the release of her new album, The Tortured Poets Department, on April 19.

And on Sunday, the Style hitmaker, 34, shared some lyrics from one of the new songs, which appeared to reference her split from ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn.

Taylor was in a relationship with the actor, 33, for six years before they split in early 2023. She is now dating NFL star Travis Kelce.

And now Taylor has apparently shared some new lyrics with her fans as she promotes a special edition of her new album.

Carrying X Taylor wrote: “I wish I could forget how we almost had it all…”

Taylor has gone crazy predicting attacks on her famous exes after the Tortured Poets Department tracklist was revealed in February.

She announced her 11th studio album at the Grammy Awards earlier this year after sharing the record’s tracklist, which includes collaborations with Post Malone and Florence + the Machine.

After the tracklist was revealed, fans went crazy over the song names, linking some of them to her ex-boyfriends Joe and Harry Styles.

One eagle-eyed Twitter user pointed out that there is a song called So Long, London, which could refer to British Joe.

One wrote: “Joe alwyn and his publicist watching ‘so long, london’ just appear on the track list…”

Another reference to Joe read: “So long London, the smallest man who ever lived, my son only breaks his favorite toys, I can fix it (no, I really can) GOODBYE JOE ALWYN.”

Another fan wrote: ‘So long for London?’ I LOVE YOU ARE YOU RUINING MY LIFE? Joe Alwyn counts your days #THETORTUEDPOETSDEPARTMENT.’

Then he added:

Additionally, some think the album title is also a reference to Joe and could be a wild nod to the group chat Joe shared with his friends Paul Mescal and Andrew Scott.

In 2022, Joe revealed that a mutual friend created a WhatsApp group with him and Paul called The Tortured Man Club.

They later explained to Variety that Andrew “started the group,” and Paul said, “He’s there every day.” He’s alone in this.’

Joe jokingly added, “I’m just texting myself good morning.”

Fans went crazy with one writing about X: ‘THIS IS THE BREAKUP ALBUM’

Another wrote: ‘I hope for Joe’s sake he still has that group chat. I feel like he’s going to need it’

Others made the connection to singer Harry Styles, 30, after the tracklist was revealed.

One noticed a song called ‘loml’ which could be a reference to one of Harry’s songs called Love of My Life.

One fan shared a screenshot of the songs side by side and wrote on Twitter: ‘No, sorry…’

Another fan pointed out that one of Taylor’s new tracks is called But Daddy I Love Him, after Harry was once seen wearing a t-shirt with the But Daddy I Love Him logo.

The fan shared the photo of Harry in the outfit along with the name of the song and excitedly wrote: ‘EXCUSE ME?!?!!!!!!!!’

Taylor and Harry dated from late 2012 to early 2013, and the star has written several songs about him in the past.

In February, Taylor shared the full tracklist for her new album Tortured Poets Department, which includes collaborations with two top artists.

Post Malone and Florence + the Machine will appear on the album that will be released next Friday.

Taylor took to Instagram to share a photo of some artwork for the record, which featured a black-and-white photo of herself and “I love you, it’s ruining my life” written across her shoulder, as well as the track listing.

The A-side begins with the Post Malone collaboration Fortnight and is followed by the album’s title track, My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys and Down Bad.

While the B-side has So Long, London, But Daddy I Love Him, Fresh Out the Slammer and Florida!!!, the latter song features Florence + the Machine.

Side C offers Guilty as Sin?, Who’s Afraid of My Little One?, I Can Fix It (No, I Really Can) and ‘Ioml.’

The final part of the album, Side D, has I Can Do It With a Broken Heart, The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived, The Alchemy, Clara Bow and the bonus track The Manuscript.

In reference to the album’s release date, the post simply read: ‘April 19 [white heart emoji].’

The Blank Space singer announced the release of her album when she won Best Pop Vocal Album for Midnights at the Grammy Awards.

She said in her acceptance speech: “I want to thank the members of the Recording Academy for voting this way.”

‘But I know that the way the Recording Academy voted is a direct reflection of the passion of the fans.

“So I want to thank the fans by telling them a secret that I’ve been keeping from them for the last two years, and that is that my new album is coming out on April 19.”
