Taylor Swift has reflected on her ‘whirlwind’ Sydney tour after wrapping up the Australian leg of her Eras Tour.

The global superstar, who is now in Singapore, took to Instagram in the early hours of Tuesday morning to pay tribute to the legions of fans who watched her perform at Harbor City, while marveling at her lung capacity and passion.

“Sydney, Sydney, Sydney, Sydney… what a whirlwind of endless magical moments with you,” the 34-year-old began alongside a carousel of images.

The one-woman economy went on to say that she was proud that her Eras Tour was the first in the city to play the Accor Stadium four times, before highlighting some of her personal memories from the sold-out shows.

‘I will never forget singing with Sabrina [Carpenter]the chaotic acoustic mixes and the crowds that were louder (singing AND shouting) than I thought humanly possible.’

“The Swift effect is undeniable when it comes to the economic impact her tour generates in host cities,” said Accommodation Australia CEO Michael Johnson. The Daily Telegraph.

“According to previous estimates, their shows can inject between $150 and $200 million into a state’s economy, just as we saw in Melbourne.”

The New South Wales economy boomed in many sectors, with hotel rooms fully booked, restaurants and bars packed and thousands of fans splurging on merchandise.

Meanwhile, tax lawyer Harry Dell revealed that Swift had reportedly paid a 30 per cent tax to the Australian Tax Office on her concert earnings.

This means that the Australian government collected around $10 million in taxes from Swift at her four shows in Sydney.
