Taylor Swift has broken her silence on the devastating Los Angeles wildfires, which have killed more than 25 people and destroyed more than 12,000 structures.
On Thursday afternoon, the pop star, 35, took to social media to share her reaction to the worst natural disaster in California history as deadly wildfires rage across Southern California for the ninth day.
“The fires in California have devastated so many families, and it has been heartbreaking to see these untold stories,” she wrote in a post uploaded to her Instagram Story. There is not much suffering, loss and destruction. As so many people embark on some of the largest groups coming together to help these communities rebuild.’
He went on to share a list of organizations he has donated to and encouraged others who “feel compelled or able to donate” to consider donating to 211 LA, California Community Foundation Fund, Direct Relief, and Greater Los Angeles Education Foundation.
The 14-time Grammy winner also highlighted Habitat For Humanity of Greater Los Angeles, Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation, Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, Los Angeles Unified School District Education Foundation Emergency Relief Fund, MusiCares and Pasadena Educational Foundation Eaton Fire Response Fund.

His generous donations come just weeks after he made a $250,000 contribution to Operation Breakthrough, which provides education and aid to children and families in poverty.
Operation Breakthrough, which has provided a safe and loving environment to Kansas City families since 1971, shared a touching video on social media showing the children their donation supported in December.
Over the past year, Swift’s charitable acts have also included donating to numerous food banks across the country, visiting patients at Children’s Mercy Hospital last week, and donating $197 million in bonuses to everyone who works at her Eras Tour.
In October 2024, he donated $5 million to support communities affected by Hurricanes Helene and Milton.
A year earlier, he donated $1 million to disaster relief efforts in Tennessee after the storms.
He also made a $100,000 donation to help the family of a woman who tragically lost her life at the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl parade in February 2024.
During her successful Eras Tour, Swift has consistently supported food banks in the cities she visited, including the Edinburgh Food Project and the Arizona Food Bank Network.
