Taylor Swift sends crowd into ‘excited panic’ as she performs mash-up of her hit breakup ballads Exile and Haunted in Sydney

Taylor Swift has been shaking things up a bit during the Australian leg of her record-breaking Eras Tour.

Just like she did at Friday and Saturday’s shows, the Anti-Hero singer, 34, played a medley of multiple different tracks for her ‘surprise songs’ portion of the show.

At his last show, the first mix was of his beloved vault song, 1989’s Is It Over Now (Taylor’s version), and I Wish You Would, also from 1989, which he played on his acoustic guitar.

During the second mix he performed Haunted, first released on his third album Speak Now, and Exile, from his album Folklore.

A fan shared a video of the combinations on TikTok and Swifties went wild with the comments.

“These mixes get me excited first thing,” one fan wrote, adding the crying emoji.

Another Swiftie admitted: “I wouldn’t cry the moment she started playing exile.”

‘People didn’t really know how to react to exile. EXCITED PANIC,” said a third fan, adding the crying emoji and a red heart.

A fourth fan had a really good idea and wrote: “He needs to make an album of these mashups.” It would be great.’

Taylor has been on tour since March 2023 and changes two songs in her acoustic set each night.

But in Australia he decided to do things differently and explained to the crowd that he was no longer feeling well.

“That was to challenge myself to reach out to all those that I just don’t naturally gravitate toward, and I feel very proud to have done that.” The American weekly reported.

“I want to be as creative as possible with the acoustic set moving forward and I don’t want to limit anything or say, ‘Oh, if I played this song, I can’t play it again,'” the Grammy winner said. during one of his shows in Melbourne.

‘So from now on, I don’t want to take any paint colors out of the paint box. [or] tools out of the toolbox.

‘I want to be able to play songs more than once if I feel like it and I want to be able to make changes to songs. Is that okay with you?’ she told the crowd.

While her boyfriend Travis Kelce, 34, attended Friday’s show in Australia, he later returned to Las Vegas to celebrate his Super Bowl victory with his teammates. TMZ reported.

Fans who haven’t been able to attend one of Taylor’s concerts will soon be able to watch the Eras concert film as much as they want when it arrives on Disney+.

The Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour movie will debut on the streaming platform on March 15.

This version will include even more bonus material than the previous rental version.
