The singer, 34, praised Maisie, 24, as she took to the stage in London on Monday in front of 92,000 adoring fans.
Taylor admitted she was a “huge fan,” applauded the English singer’s writing skills and said she “did great.”
While Paramore will perform every night, Raye, Suki Waterhouse, Holly Humberstone, Sofia Isella and Maisie will play one night each.
Taylor stopped a song to address the crowd, saying, “The plan is for us to have a great night. But you’ve already had a great night because you were able to be absolutely blown away by the most amazing opening act possible.”

Maisie shared her excitement about opening the superstar’s concert on her Instagram, sharing photos from her soundcheck.
Last year, she became the youngest British artist in nine years to score a number one album at the age of 23, according to the Official Charts Company.
The musician’s album, The Good Witch, follows his 2021 debut release, You Signed Up For This, which peaked at number two on the charts.
Maisie made her debut on Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage in 2023, with her performance coinciding with the release of her new album.
She is signed to Ed Sheeran’s label, Gingerbread Man Records.
Meanwhile, Swifties had been convinced that Post Malone would be taking to the stage with the hitmaker in the capital, after noticing a key detail on the show poster.

The multi-millionaire singer is in the midst of the second leg of her Eras Tour with five shows at the London Stadium, following her run of sold-out dates there in June.
However, when Taylor took to the stage to perform Fortnight, from her latest album The Tortured Poets Department, Malone was noticeably absent.
Eagle-eyed fans had believed the rapper would join her on stage after noticing symbols next to each concert date in the show’s promotion.
The poster featured a typewriter, a symbol that appeared frequently in their joint music video, alongside Friday’s concert.
Fans were further convinced of her theory after Taylor shared a photo of herself and Malone, whose real name is Austin Richard Post, on her Instagram Stories shortly before the show.
In a gushing tribute, she wrote: ‘I was lucky enough to hear this incredible music on the set of the ‘Fortnight’ video when Austin played it for me.
“It’s amazing how versatile his art is. He’s the most down-to-earth guy in the world.”
The poster for her first concert date featured a heart, which fans believed hinted at a surprise appearance by her beloved friend Ed Sheeran, 33, who sent the crowd into a frenzy when he came out on stage.
Thursday’s breakout star, which Swifties concluded was a reference to the debut of her new Midnight bodysuit.
Looking ahead, they concluded that Monday, which featured a top hat symbol, would see Taylor’s boyfriend Travis Kelcee, 34, return to Wembley.
Last month, the American footballer, dressed in a top hat and tails, took to the stadium stage during a segment while helping his girlfriend change her outfit.

After one fan posted the theory on X, others rushed to the comments convinced they had cracked the code, writing: ‘Also the fact that when Travis was on stage (Taylor) said it was his “debut” which makes me think this was definitely NOT his last time on stage’: ‘Okay you’re onto something’: THIS IS WHAT I WAS THINKING BEFORE TOO!!!!’: ‘Definitely Post Malone! However, others were quick to pour cold water on the idea, pointing out that he was likely referring to his support acts and the fact that Post was busy promoting his new album in Nashville while Travis was training with his team, the Kansas Chiefs.
