Uptown Girl icon Joel, 75, who shares daughters Della, nine, and Remy, six, with his fourth wife, Alexis Roderick, 42, looked delighted as he joined Swift, 34 years, backstage before the show, while praising her for leading by example. his daughters.

Joel and his family also joined Taylor’s mother, Andrea, 66, in the crowd at the show and shared another sweet photo.
In July, Joel played the final note of his 10-year residency at a sold-out Madison Square Garden.
The show also marked his 150th lifetime performance, which is a record for any artist at this iconic venue.
It turned out to be a family affair for the singer when family friend Jimmy Fallon brought his daughters on stage to help unveil a banner in his honor for his historic show.
Joel had the honor of sitting behind the piano while Della sang and danced, while his father wore a proud smile on his face.
Remy was able to watch the performance up close while sitting at the end of her father’s piano, who happened to be dressed identically to her older sister in a colorful burgundy minidress.
