Taylor Swift Fans Slam Resellers Over ‘Price Gouging’ Eras Tour Merch on Facebook Marketplace

Taylor Swift fans have criticized greedy resellers for trying to resell Eras Tour merchandise on Facebook Marketplace.

After the superstar performed seven sold-out shows in Sydney and Melbourne in February, Australians have been eager to get their hands on official merchandise.

Those unlucky enough to miss out on pop-up stalls have turned to online forums such as Ebay, Facebook Marketplace and Gumtree.

But fans encounter demands for $500 for a bracelet given away during the concert, or scammers who disappear after you wire them money.

“I find it so disgusting that people deliberately try to create a profile out of this stuff,” one said.

Another fan recently found the $50 Bejeweled Midnights Eras Chain Bracelet on sale for $100, but it was marked down from $150.

‘The fact that they had to lower it makes me laugh. I hope karma catches up with them and they stay stuck in it,” one woman said of the greedy salesman.

The jewelry is made of copper and glass and will likely tarnish quickly with wear.

‘That’s shocking! I love my bracelet, but it’s not even worth the $50 I paid for it; I can’t imagine trying to sell it for $150. “That’s very bad,” said another.

Some claimed that Taylor herself sold very expensive products; many said that $70 for a t-shirt and $120 for a hoodie is not “reasonable.”

Another mother paid $140 for an Eras Tour hoodie, but the seller blocked her on Facebook after receiving the wire transfer.

Online resellers are common when it comes to Taylor Swift items due to their popularity.

Unfortunately, other items have also been listed at outrageous prices.

After a quick search on Facebook Marketplace, there are more glow bracelets for $100, an Eras Tour VIP box priced at $280, and an Eras Tour duffle bag for $90.
