She said childless women have no “direct interest” in America’s future, adding that these women are “miserable about their own lives and the choices they made, so they want to make the rest of the country miserable, too.”
And while the Republican vice presidential candidate called it a “basic fact,” his comments have sparked anger among Swift’s fans, who advised her to calm down before facing the “wrath” of “a certain childless cat lady who has yet to endorse a presidential candidate.”

In the clip, Vance criticized the prospect of handing the country over to childless women.
He said: ‘I’m saying that we are effectively ruled in this country through the Democrats by a bunch of childless cat-loving women who are miserable with their own lives and the choices they’ve made, so they want to make the rest of the country miserable too.
“It’s a basic fact. If you look at Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg, AOC, the entire future of the Democrats is controlled by people without children. What’s the point of us handing our country over to people who have no interest in it?”
His “cruel” and “alienating” claims recently caught the attention of Taylor’s fans as they reminded Trump’s running mate of the power the 34-year-old, who is a proud owner of three cats, wields.
The singer supported President Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in 2020, but has yet to endorse any candidate in this election.
