Travis Kelce appears to have inspired some of Taylor Swift’s dance moves while on tour, or at least his fans are convinced of that after videos emerged of the pop star performing in Paris.
Swift, who has been publicly dating Chiefs star Kelce since September, is already believed to have dedicated several songs on her new album to the tight end.
Now, apparently she’s also borrowing some of his touchdown celebrations, as side-by-side videos on x and TikTok show a striking similarity between their movements and Kelce’s.
The moves occurred during the song ‘So High School,’ which contains fairly obvious references to Kelce such as ‘I feel like laughing in the middle of practice’ and ‘I want to find you in the crowd…’
And during the song, Swift appeared to imitate some of Kelce’s signature touchdown celebrations along with her dancers, including an arm wave.
Taylor Swift and her background dancers appeared to imitate Travis Kelce on stage.
Swift and her dancers also broke out in a ‘Swag Surf’ during her song ‘So High School’ in Paris
His fans were convinced that it was not a coincidence, with a writing‘taylor did high school choreography with travis i (I swear to god)’.
Another said: ‘Wonder where he got that move from’ as the title of another compelling side-by-side clip.
These aren’t the only recent nods to Kelce and the Chiefs on stage.
Earlier this week, also while performing at So High School, she and her dancers swag surfed, a signature move performed by Chiefs fans at Arrowhead Stadium.
He also memorably joined Chiefs Kingdom in making the move during their playoff victory over the Dolphins in January.
Swift and Kelce are seen together in October at an SNL after-party in New York City.
And previously, a TikTok user pointed out that during Swift’s performance of The Archer throughout her tour, she uses her arms to make it look like she’s shooting a fake bow and arrow, a move Travis has also done in celebration of the touchdown.
However, the singer no longer performs The Archer as part of her setlist.
Notably, one of Swift’s background dancers is Kameron Saunders, brother of former boss Khalen Saunders.
Thursday’s show in Paris marked Swift’s first performance after a two-month hiatus from the record-breaking tour.
