Fans have taken to social media to reveal a crazy moment that occurred during Taylor Swift’s record-breaking show in Melbourne on Friday.
Taylor took to the stage as footage of the women’s cricket test match between Australia and South Africa was projected on television screens in boxes during the concert, which ironically took place at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
Footage shared on X (formerly Twitter) shows SA bowler Anneke Bosch preparing to bowl a delivery, while Taylor can be seen in the background singing a tune.
“Trust the MCG will still play cricket at Taylor’s concert,” the user shared.
Several fans took to the comments to share their thoughts on the wild moment.

“Only in Australia,” commented one user.
“This is brilliant,” added another.
Channel Seven AFL commentator Georgie Parker saw the funny side of the bizarre incident that occurred after Australian all-rounder Annabel Sutherland scored a double century in Friday’s Test in Perth.
The former hockey champion posted a screenshot of Taylor looking into the distance with a “surprised” expression and captioned the image: “Taylor watching Annabel Sutherland’s double ton.”
Meanwhile, the Australian women’s cricket team added: “Lucky Swifties.”

A cricket viewer also posted: “It’s a women’s test match, of course it should be broadcast.”
Another X user seemed relieved to see the multi-purpose stadium returning to its roots: “About time they had people there watching cricket for a change.”
It comes after behind-the-scenes details about Taylor’s MCG recently emerged.
The global megastar, 34, was seen being driven to the stadium with an FBI-style driver on Friday afternoon, just hours before taking the stage.

The Australian women’s cricket team seemed to have enjoyed the moment.
A cavalcade of blacked-out Land Rovers were seen driving down Brunton Ave to the venue’s underground car park, one of which bore the Shake It Off star.
Fans have been eagerly waiting for Taylor to hit the stage on her first Australian tour since 2018, and flocked to the venue early amid Swiftie mania.
Thousands of the pop star’s fans invaded the stadium two hours before the start of the show, at 6:30 p.m., in an attempt to avoid the long lines to enter.
Taylor Swift took the stage shortly after 7pm on Friday for the first show of her Australian leg of the tour before a staggering crowd of 96,000 concertgoers.
“My name is Taylor and I will be your host tonight,” she said as she began the long-awaited show.
Taylor performed her biggest concert at the MCG on Friday
‘I’m going crazy because there are 96,000 people here. This is the biggest show we’ve ever done.
‘I’m completely blown away by the fact that so many people wanted to hang out with us on a Friday night in Melbourne!’
Meanwhile, Taylor adopted the change during the women’s Test in Perth, in which the Australians took a commanding lead of 9 outs for 575, beating South Africa for just 67 runs and three wickets.
It was the highest single-day score in women’s Test cricket.
