Taylor Swift has defended Lady Gaga amid rumors she was pregnant, following images of Gaga at her sister’s wedding showing off a curvy midsection in a skin-tight black dress.
On Wednesday, Taylor commented on Lady Gaga’s video she posted to her TikTok denying that she is pregnant, and its caption was a lyric by Taylor.
Gaga captioned it: “I’m not pregnant, just crying a lot at the gym,” which is a lyric from Taylor’s song Down Bad from her Department of Tortured Poets Anthology.
‘Do we all agree that it is invasive and irresponsible to comment on a woman’s body? “Gaga doesn’t owe anyone an explanation and neither does any woman,” Taylor wrote in the comments section.
The expression ‘Down bad’ is mainly used to refer to feelings of longing and sadness.
