The 34-year-old singer’s album debuted at number one on the chart. Billboard 200 last week and earned 2.61 million equivalent album units in its initial release period.
The project, which covered several topics about the songwriter’s personal life, launched with the largest streaming week ever for a single album and became the singer’s 14th No. 1 album.
Swift kicked off her post by writing a caption to express that she was “blown away” and was “completely floored by the love you’ve shown on this album.”
‘Thank you for listening, transmitting and welcoming Tortured Poets into your life. I feel completely overwhelmed,” she continued.

The Tortured Poets Department has since become the best-selling album of the year, with Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter in second place.
Swift’s past relationship with Joe Alwyn, whom she dated for six years, is rumored to be one of the album’s main themes, and a source recently gave Entertainment tonight an update on the situation of the former couple.
“Taylor and Joe are not in contact at this time, but they are trying to be respectful of each other,” they said.
