Thea Ormonde, whose son was friends with Ms Grittner, said all her friends were “in shock”.
“She was a beautiful girl and the community is devastated,” Ms Ormonde said.
“It’s just a shock, you don’t know what life will throw at you, she was just a fun-loving girl and so young,” she said.
Anyone with information about the accident, which happened around 6:20 p.m. Thursday, is asked to contact police.
