The man pulled the driver's drunk passenger and managed to keep him away by dragging him across the road at his feet.

The video featured a woman who expressed concern: & # 39; Can anyone call the police? & # 39;

The passenger could be hit on the ground while the taxi drove away.

The man who intervened and wanted to remain anonymous said: & I just had to jump in and help the man because I felt so bad for him.

& # 39; No one else would do anything. & # 39;

& # 39; It's a shame – the taxi driver is trying to make ends meet, trying to make money and trying to make a living, and you have a random man who attacks you for no reason. & # 39;

Witnesses said the passenger was denied a ride home by at least two other taxis before he pulled out.

Police said there was no formal report, but urged witnesses to come forward.
