Taylor Swift’s visit to a Sydney animal park has reportedly sparked a rivalry between competing zoos in the area.

Taylor’s boyfriend Travis Kelce touched down in Sydney on Thursday morning and the Style singer wasted no time showing him around the Harbor City.

The 34-year-old was so fascinated by her visit to Sydney Zoo on Wednesday that she opted to take her man straight to the Australian wildlife park to get up close and personal with some of the country’s most iconic animals when she landed.

Swift’s decision to go to Sydney Zoo, rather than the iconic Taronga Zoo, resulted in a declaration from the competing park and a reported rivalry, the Daily Telegraph reported on Tuesday.

“While we would have loved to welcome Taylor Swift, we appreciate that she took the opportunity during her stay in Sydney to meet some of Australia’s iconic species,” Taronga Zoo said in a statement.

“Zoos play an important role in educating visitors of all ages and backgrounds about wildlife and inspiring future generations to take action for nature,” he continued.

Meanwhile, Sydney Zoo boasts on its website of offering “a more immersive and engaging experience than traditional zoos,” adding: “Sydney Zoo has Sydney’s ONLY rhinoceros.”

The public can also “see the first hyena cub to be born in Sydney” at the park, according to the website.

The global superstar was the epitome of casual cool as she enjoyed her romantic reunion with her handsome boyfriend following her Super Bowl win at the zoo.

On Friday night, the NFL star attended the first Sydney date of Swift’s Eras tour at Sydney’s Accor Stadium.

On Saturday, Travis had already left Taylo and Australia to fly back to Las Vegas to continue partying with his Kansas City Chiefs teammates.

More than 600,000 people have attended the Australian leg of Swift’s Eras tour, with a record 96,000 fans attending each of her three nights in Melbourne and another 83,000 Swifties at each of her four shows in Sydney.
