Tara Reade, the former Senate staffer who alleged that Joe Biden sexually assaulted her in 1993, beat Nancy Pelosi for claiming that Congress is “ holding out with survivors. ”
The 57-year-old claimed last year that Biden attacked her in an office building on Capitol Hill while she was a staff member in his office.
Biden vehemently denied the claim that he pushed her against a wall and carried out the attack.
On Monday, home speaker Pelosi shared a statement commemorating sexual violence awareness month, which ends this week.
She wrote, “As Sexual Assault Awareness Month closes, we repeat ourselves to fight sexual assault and demand accountability.

Congress stands behind the survivors and will honor their strength by working for a future free from violence and assault for all. # SAAM2021. ‘
But Reade replied, accusing her of trying to silence survivors instead of supporting them and their accusations.
She wrote: ‘Are you really @SpeakerPelosi among survivors?
“I was a former Senate aide who was sexually assaulted by a member of the Senate that is now POTUS. I was silenced and denied justice by you and Congress.
‘You, Madam Speaker, were not with me. You are an accessory to rape. ‘
Reade replied accusing her of trying to silence survivors instead of supporting them and their accusations
During last year’s election, Pelosi backed Biden after Reade’s allegations, saying she was “ satisfied ” with his account.
She told CNN at the time, “You know, it’s an issue he’s dealing with, but I’m impressed with the people who work for him, who say they’ve absolutely never heard a shred of information about this.
“No one has ever made a claim or anyone else has told them about such a claim.”
Last month, Reade condemned the “arrogant” Biden for calling for an investigation into sexual harassment claims against Governor Andrew Cuomo – while flatly rejecting the allegations she had made against him.
Discussing the multiple allegations of sexual harassment against Governor Cuomo during an ABC interview, Biden stated, “ A woman should be supposed to be telling the truth and not be scapegoated and victimized by coming forward. It must be investigated whether what she says is true. ‘
Biden added that Cuomo – whom he has been friends with for decades – could also face criminal charges if an investigation shows the allegations to be true.

Cuomo has been accused of sexual harassment by at least eight different women
Reade said Biden was hypocritical – because he never said her claims should be investigated and he never claimed that she should be “ supposed to be telling the truth. ”
“The trauma I experienced with Biden was very real,” said Reade Fox news.
“The fact that he is calling for another official’s investigation and possible criminal penalties for similar charges shows how arrogant he is that he is never responsible for his own case.”
Reade also swore there will one day be ‘reckoning’ and that ‘the truth will prevail’.
Reade spoke to Fox and also accused the mainstream media of a cover up, claiming they had not taken her allegations seriously.
“ The alarming distraction and compliance of the media to allow Joe Biden to deny his own sexual misconduct is predictable, but still shocking as a survivor to be so publicly erased, ” she said.
Reade’s public resurgence comes after radio host Charlamagne Tha God claimed it was hypocritical for people to call for Cuomo’s resignation after voting for Joe Biden.
Cuomo has been accused of sexual harassment by at least eight different women.

Reade was one of several women who came forward in 2019 claiming that Biden touched them inappropriately.
In March last year, she offered another allegation, alleging that Biden reached into her skirt and penetrated her into a Congressional hallway when she worked as an assistant for him in 1993.
Biden denied the claims, and Biden staffers said at the time that they cannot recall such an incident.
Reade had previously claimed that Biden loved her legs and wanted her to be a waitress at a Capitol Hill cocktail party while she was on duty. Reade also complained that he was touchy and put his hands on her shoulders, neck, and hair.
Despite the allegations, media networks largely ignored her story and did not push for an investigation to be opened.
